RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - Brouk - 12-13-2024 Thanks for the help, now it works - see attachments: during installation: while the module is running: So the DHT22 sensor needs 5V DC to work properly. +5V must be from the A16 module only? Why I ask: I have the modules in boxes and I will have to somehow get +5V out of the box to a terminal that can be disconnected. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - admin - 12-14-2024 you can use extend 5v DC power supply for DHT22 sensor, but you MUST let all power supply's GND connect together. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - twostar - 02-11-2025 Will this be fixed in a future hardware rev? At the moment the GPIO contacts can't power the very devices that it's advertised to work with. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - admin - 02-11-2025 DS18B20 can use by 3.3V, DHT22 use by 5V. maybe in furture, we will add 5V terminal. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - twostar - 02-13-2025 (12-07-2024, 05:41 AM)admin Wrote: DHT22 use by 3.5v--5.5v power. so i have contact with 433MHz receiver's pin, that have a 5V point. I've wired the DHT22 up as per the post: but the KCS firmware is showing no readings off any sensor (I enabled all three in case I'd set the wrong one, but they all show zero): Any idea what could be wrong? I've checked the DHT22 and it's being powered, the board just isn't getting any data from it. I've tried power cycling the board which someone suggested somewhere but that hasn't made any difference. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - admin - 02-13-2025 take photo of your sensor setting screen. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - twostar - 02-13-2025 Sure, here it is. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - admin - 02-13-2025 you can change "Temperature Threshold" to 0.1 . maybe you have connected the sensor with number 3 sensor. you can set for different GPIO channel for a testing. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - twostar - 02-13-2025 It's definitely channel 1, or at least the input marked HT1, see the original photo. I've set the threshold to 0.1 and enabled all three channels just in case, but they're still all showing 0.0 degrees/humidity. I've just tried changing the sensor on channel 1 to DHT11 (with the other two channels left at DHT22) and now channel 1 is showing temperature 25 degrees (which sounds right) and humidity 2% (which is definitely wrong), but at least it's not zero any more. If I set the other channels to DHT11 then it goes back to zero again. If I set channel 2 to DHT11 and the others to DHT22 then it's also still zero. Finally, setting channel 1 = DHT11, channel 2+3 = none gives a reading of 25 degrees, 2% humidity. The sensor is definitely a DHT22 (AM2302), not a DHT11. As an additional note, I'm not using a 10k pullup because this post said there's one built-in on the board. RE: Sensor DHT22 on modul A16 - admin - 02-13-2025 can you take a photo of your DHT22 sensor? |
