KC868-M30 - how to get it to work - msmrz - 02-28-2025 I just received the M30. And I don't know how to get it to work. I haven't found any documentation or user guide for the M30. My scenario is to configure the M30 to provide measured data via MQTT to other systems. I want to connect to M30 and configure it. But it looks like the ethernet connection is not working. If I connect the M30 to the switch, LED on the ethernet port doesn't blink. RE: KC868-M30 - how to get it to work - admin - 03-01-2025 you need to download KCS firmware firstly. https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=6760 RE: KC868-M30 - how to get it to work - msmrz - 03-03-2025 Thank you for your answer and advice. I finally managed to get it working. It would be nice to provide some step by step user guide. What I did, what is good to know:
I have some additional questions:
RE: KC868-M30 - how to get it to work - admin - 03-03-2025 sure, you can connect with ethernet cable, it will use by DHCP mode. then use kincony scan device tool , you will find the ethernet IP address for M30. all current and voltage channel work with 50hz or 60hz power. all calculate work manager by BL0910 energy IOT chip. just the data is different , it will auto update to MQTT topic. RE: KC868-M30 - how to get it to work - msmrz - 03-07-2025 Thank you for your reply. I understand that I can find details about voltage and current measurements in the documentation for the BL0910 chip. After a week of operation, the functioning of the M30 looks quite good. No problems appeared. |
