Unexpected IFTTT result - TNjoe - 08-09-2025
I have a KC868-A16v3 and I've created an IFTTT rule that says:
IF DI16 False and DI1 False then DO1 ON 1 then Delay 2 s then DO1 OFF 1 and it works but when i change DI16 to True it turns DO1 ON again for 2 seconds. It only does it one time and then stays off if DI16 is True?
I am controlling the state of DI16 with a relay that I turn ON or OFF in HomeKit with a smart switch. I am trying to use the KC868-A16 as an alarm control and DO1 is the siren so I don't want it to turn on again when I turn the system OFF (DI16 TRUE). Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to correct it?

take a photo of your IFTTT setting. if you can take a video of your problem is better.

The one time re-trigger may have occurred when DI1 went false after DI16 was true.
I'm not sure how to post the photos. Hopefully you can see them. I appreciate your quick response.

I had the delay programmed to 2 s when I was testing. Do you need more information?
