RE: KC868-A6 Flow Control - admin - 11-04-2025 sorry, we have not used RTS/CTS pins, we have use MS2548 for RS485 circuit. RE: KC868-A6 Flow Control - Edomicianoa - 11-04-2025 Thank you for your quick response. I appreciate the information about the MS2548 chip used in the RS485 circuit. I understand that the MS2548 likely provides Automatic Direction Control for the RS485 communication, which means a separate RTS/CTS signal is not needed for the RS485 interface. Could you please confirm the following points? RS485 Confirmation: Is it correct that the RS485 port on the KC868-A6 V1 4SP does not require an external RTS signal because its direction switching is managed automatically by the MS2548 chip? RS232 Status: Can you confirm if the RS232 port on the KC868-A6 V1 4SP has the RTS and CTS pins available for hardware flow control? (My initial question did not receive a specific answer for RS232). This confirmation is important for my device setup. Thank you once again for your assistance. Best regards, RE: KC868-A6 Flow Control - admin - 11-05-2025 RS485 Confirmation: Is it correct that the RS485 port on the KC868-A6 V1 4SP does not require an external RTS signal because its direction switching is managed automatically by the MS2548 chip? --- Yes, you not need to use RTS for direction. RS232 Status: Can you confirm if the RS232 port on the KC868-A6 V1 4SP has the RTS and CTS pins available for hardware flow control? not used RTS and CTS pin in DB9 interface, only RXD, TXD, GND 3 pins used. |
