Help choosing equipment for my small project - PaPiTo - 02-19-2026

First of all, thank you for welcoming me to this forum.

I came here looking for a practical (and cheap, haha) solution for my modest project.

I've had a TECNOALARM TP5 alarm system at home for years.

As long as it keeps working, I have no intention of changing it, since it meets my needs.

But I would like to make it a bit "smart."

I would simply like to:

1. Activate/Deactivate it from my mobile phone (I use SmartLife for many of the smart plugs I have installed at home).

2. Know if the alarm has been triggered by an alert on my mobile phone.

I have the alarm's installer manual, so I could provide more information if needed.

So, is this possible with any of your panels? Which board would you recommend for this?

I've attached some images from the manual in case they're helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for reply,

Yes, this is my favourite one if I change all the sistem, but for this time the only one I need it's the explained in the first post.

Maybe with a "simple" board....

Hi!

After studying my alarm's manual, I think I can get the outputs I need for what I want to do, but I'm not sure if your Kincony can do it.

I can configure the CH output for full arming using a normally closed (NC) contact and some resistors, so when the contact opens with the relay, the alarm will arm.

I can configure the OUT1 output to indicate that the alarm is armed when there's a negative voltage at that output. When there's high impedance, it indicates that the alarm is at rest.

I can configure the OUT2 output to indicate that the system is OK when there's a negative voltage at that output, or to indicate that the alarm has been triggered when there's no negative voltage at that output but there is high impedance.

Could you please tell me if this wiring is possible with the KC868-A2, for example, and where the connections should go according to the attached diagram?

Thank you in advance!

Thanks for reply,

But which input should I connect the red and blue lines to? DI 1 and DI 2?

Thanks
