No Wifi AP Initial Setup - bxsteez - 05-03-2026

I am trying to setup the v3 board with the KinCony firmware and after I flash the device the AP never comes up and the ethernet defaults to static 192.168.1.200 which conflicts with my network infrastructure. Is there something I am doing wrong that makes the AP come up or is there a way to change the static ip or use dhcp?

take a photo of your firmware file and esp download tool screen.

I ended up giving up and just using esphome. I couldn't get the AP to show up or ethernet to work. I suspect it is a me issue since everything definitely works with ESPhome. With the exception of the RF transmitters.
