Hello and thank you very much for the detailed DP overview.
I checked the product configuration and noticed something important:
In the Tuya product definition for PID n0tysl9oh0b6lfjh, the section “Product Standard Functions” is currently empty.
Because of this, Home Assistant can detect the device, but it cannot create any entities.
Home Assistant only reads standard Tuya functions, not custom DP functions.
All the existing DPs like
input1, input2, output1, output2, adc1–adc4, sensor1–sensor4, all_on, all_off
are available as Custom DPs, which is great — but Home Assistant unfortunately ignores custom DPs.
It is also important to mention that users cannot modify or add Standard Functions themselves.
Only the device manufacturer can define or update the Standard Functions for this PID.
If possible, it would be extremely helpful if at least a few essential functions could be added as Standard Functions, for example:
• Switch (mapped to output1 / output2)
• Boolean sensor (mapped to input1 / input2)
• Numeric sensor (mapped to adc1 / sensor1 etc.)
With only these basic standard definitions, Home Assistant would immediately recognise all required entities without any additional scripts.
This would make the KC868-A2 fully compatible with Tuya → Home Assistant setups, especially in LTE-only installations.
If this can be added in a future update or product configuration, it would help a lot — and I would be happy to test it.
Thank you again for your great support.
