Reed water meter
#1
I would like to use this product:
https://www.kincony.com/esp32-s3-16ch-sm...oller.html

In order to read water meter
https://www.transducers.co.za/media/1868...-meter.pdf

Please advise if this is possible, it not what else to use?

The idea is to count every pulse using the digital input, and increasing the count value and storing the value in case of reboot/power failure

you can test, connect water meter with free GPIO of B16 controller, not use by digital input port, because digital input with opto-coupler circuit.

thanks for your reply. I have not bought the unit yet. any chance you can confirm if REED meter is enabled or not. REED needs to count the impulse sent by a meter and then increase the count, and store it even during power failure.

I am on KNX and home assistant.

if the B16 does not provide this functionality then I will have to use this:

see page 51 chapter 4.3.9
