M30 configure yaml for ESPhome

Hello,

I did some testing as you asked and sending you some info. Results are really bad to be honest and I do not see any relation in them. If you cannot help to get claimed results, I would like to return it. I already spent so much time with it....

My ESPHome configuration is in my previous message on 06-11-2025 in this topic.

I tested two devices, two resistive loads: water heater and hot air gun. Results are very awkward.

Water heater current measurement:

Water heater current measured by M30 is on average 9.2 - 9.25A, while multimeter and athom smartplug measure almost idential at 8.99A - 9.00A. This is a significant difference compared to claimed. However, this is not the worst part as the worst part is with lower currents. See below.

Results are 4.89A with multimeter and 4.87A with Athom smart plug. Measurements are basically identical as with water heater. However, M30 measures 4.16A! That is almost 15% off....

I am not really sure what happens here as other tools show readings as expected. These resistive loads should not be disturbed by PF and I know that athom plug does account for that.

I really see this device as hardly usable at the moment. I would rather by 30 units of PZEM-016 for that kind of price.
