PCF8574 INT pin on KC868-A6 — Is it connected to ESP32? Schematic request.
#1
Hello,
I am using the KC868-A6 board and reading digital inputs through the PCF8574.
I need to know whether the INT (nINT) pin of the PCF8574 is connected to any GPIO pin of the onboard ESP32.
I have checked the hardware documentation, but I could not find a clear answer.
Some older forum posts suggest that the INT pin might not be connected at all, but I want to confirm this specifically for the KC868-A6.
Could you please clarify:
  1. Is the PCF8574 INT pin connected to the ESP32 on the KC868-A6 board?
  2. If yes, which ESP32 GPIO pin is it wired to?
  3. If not, is there a pad or test point where the INT pin can be accessed so we can wire it manually?
  4. If possible, could you share the related portion of the schematic or PCB layout showing the PCF8574 connections?
I want to use hardware interrupts instead of polling the inputs constantly, so knowing the actual connection would help a lot.
Thank you very much!
