Suggestion for Kincony board for project
#3
I think KinCony could be a great upgrade for your setup, especially if you're looking to replace multiple Sonoff devices with a cleaner centralized solution.

For up to 16 channels, I'd look into their 16-channel relay controllers with ESP32 support. Since you're already using Home Assistant, ESPHome integration should make things much easier than flashing and maintaining individual Sonoff switches.

One thing I'd definitely check before buying is the relay ratings and whether the board supports your lighting loads, especially if you're using LED drivers with high inrush currents. I'd also prioritize Ethernet connectivity over Wi-Fi for a controller installed in a breaker panel.

The price differences may come down to features like Ethernet, input types, relay specifications, and expansion options. I'd compare those rather than just choosing the cheapest board.

Also, make sure the enclosure, wiring, circuit protection, and local electrical requirements are properly handled. Reliability and safety matter more than saving a little money on a setup like this.
