connect 2 KC868 to homeassistant with mqtt broker Mosquitto
#1
Dear,

I try to integrate 2 Kincony boards ( KC868-A16 an KC868-AP) in Homeassistant by mqtt broker Mosquitto.

For the board kc868-A16 I made the correct settings I think.

Mqtt : enable
broker address : mqtt://192.168.0.157
broker port : 1883
broker username : mqtt
broker password : 123

In the screen ' monitor' : status mqtt : connected.

My problem is the integration in homeassistant. I followed your tutorial, but at step 3, I don't understand how you imported the yaml files of your boards in the file editor.
Is it possible to explain how to import the yaml files for the boards KC868-A16 and KC868-AP ?

Second question : When I connect the secondboard ( KC868-AP), can I use the same settings for the mqtt broker ?

if integrate by mqtt, you can use this way: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=7164
if you use ESPHome, you need download yaml for ESP32.

I use homeassistant. It's not clear for me where to find the yaml files for my boards and how to import them in homeassistant.

How did you get these into homeassistant  and where can I download these files for my boards ( KC868-A16 and KC868-AP) ?

Maybe it's all clear for you but for new customers it think it's important also to deliver a clear tutorial.

i have sent you the link , it can use for A16, the sample is A8, but as same as A16, just replace the board model in MQTT topic.
KC868-AP mqtt yaml sample see this topic: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=5575

Thanks, but I don't understand. In the link I only see the first part of the yaml. Is it not possible to send the complete yaml for the board kc868-ap or a link ?

My other question was how to connect this board to home assistant over mqtt while there is already a KC868-A16 is connected.
