RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - raju - 05-08-2024 I am using 30A 1V CT sensor, still the current and watt values are wrong. If CT values cannot be changed how the board detect the value of CT sensor? Each sensor will produce 1V at its max current. I am confused. RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - admin - 05-08-2024 if your load is 15A, you can chose 20A CT version, just nearby the value is better. I understand what you said but my submersible pump at starting draws 25A and in running 15-16 A, that is why I am using 30A 1V CT sensor. I am bit worried about using this board to monitor my energy usage because few of my automations relay on the reading of M30. RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - admin - 05-08-2024 do you use home assistant software? RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - admin - 05-08-2024 if you are using home assistant, you can calibrate the values on yaml file. now we use this "coefficient", you can change it according to your data. filters: - multiply: 0.00098 RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - raju - 05-08-2024 (05-08-2024, 08:45 AM)admin Wrote: if you are using home assistant, you can calibrate the values on yaml file. Thank you for your reply, Sure I will try and update you. RE: M30 does not correctly read power and energy - admin - 05-08-2024 ok, you just replace the new number with 0.00098 just you need test by your board. How can I modify this multiplication factor if I use a CT with a ratio different from 2000:1 ? In other words, what is the relation between the multiplication factor and the CT ratio ? Thank you. |
