Hi,

Is it possible to use 4x KC868-A16 and 10+ on the same modbus (RS485) line?

I want to use the KCS firmware

Also greetings from Belgium :-)

@NicThemodder if you want to come together sometime to show installations/share info/tips/tricks?

can you draw a diagram post at here.
do you want multi KC868-A16 connect together with RS485, control by PC or another device? sorry, i don't understand what you want to do.

So all devices on 1 data + power line. and bind HA 1,2 to KC868-A16-1, 3-5 to KC868-A16-2, 6 to KC868-A16-3 and 7-10 to KC868-A16-4.

I don't want to hardwire them individually.

I just want to use the current utp and put 12v on orangewhite/orange and RS485 on bluewhite/blue and connect all the wires of all the HA and A16 together.

sure, it can work, because every KC868-HA can set different RS485 address by PC config software. every KC868-A serles relay board can set different RS485 address by config webpage via KCS firmware.

Dario,
RS485 - (Modbus) is a line that goes from point to point, not in a star!
If you have a long line, you need to terminate them with a 120 Ohm resistor (jumper on the kc868-HA board)
