it's up to you to chose, by ethernet , RS485 or RS232, it according to HMI device and protocol.

Would you have any example code for ethernet communication? Because I don't know what code to use or the right libraries. Neither the addresses put on the HMI.

you need to download arduino code or esphome by home assistant.
