KC868-A*S v2 relay assignment issue - TerryAU - 07-18-2024

Hello Everyone,
I have KC868-A8S v2.

I'm running Tasmota 10.0.0.3, and it appears the switch and relay assignments could be printed wrong?

When I move the physical switch on the unit it triggers the wrong relay.

Switch 1 - Relay 8
Switch 2 - Relay 7
Switch 3 - Relay 6
Switch 4 - Relay 5
Switch 5 - Relay 4
Switch 6 - Relay 3
Switch 7 - Relay 2
Switch 8 - Relay 1

Very confusing, but I'm wondering if tasmota has caused the issue, or is the printing on the unit incorrect?

If I activate a relay through Tasmota, the correct relay is triggered.

i can't see your photo. suggest you download KCS firmware firstly, test with KCS, if it's OK, that mean hardware PCB is no problem. Then check with your tasmota setting.

After the WhatsApp chat, seems this is the case.

It's the way the unit is manufactured.

Tasmota - Trigger relay 1 = Relay 1
Tasmota - Trigger relay 2 = Relay 2
...
Tasmota - Trigger relay 3 = Relay 3

Using the switch on the unit.

K1 = Trigger relay 8
K2 = Trigger relay 7
...
K7 = Trigger relay 2
K8 = Trigger relay 1
