Forum vs. spambots - xray - 07-23-2024
Hello Kincony,
I would suggest to do something with the forum configuration. It is getting useless with the thousands of deleted spam threads and in between one or two normal forum topic.
It is getting really difficult to find and read the valuable information in the forum.
You just need to put some control to prevent spambots.
Some suggestions:
- Captcha, reCAPTCHA, Hidden captcha, etc..
- Moderate first post for each user.
- complex registration questions
- new users manual activation
Anyone any other ideas?
Is there any plan to do something against these spammers?

Can you hide all deleted threads? For us they are all there...

Awesome, that looks much much better!!! All deleted threads are gone now and the valuable information/topics are visible now
