How do I backup the firmware settings so I don't have to redo by hand after upgrade ?

if updated different version, can't save old setting.

Settings need to be preserved to avoid having to reconfigure everything from scratch every time.
At worst a text file should be saved so the user can reference for manual reconfiguration.
