KC868-A16 to steer a 24V AC circuits - dobrogi - 11-17-2024

Hi I want to control 24V AC devices with KC868-A16 (irrigation valves). At first I thought I could use kc868-a16 outputs to directly steer the devices but it doesn't work for AC. So I thought I could make use of 16 channel relay module like the one below but it's controlled by 5V low-level inputs. How can I use A16 with the relay? What other devices do I need to make it work?

why not chose a 12v extend relay board? it's commonly used in market. not chose 5v level version.

Hi, thank you for your answer.

1. Unfortunately it doesn't bring me closer to the solution of the problem how to use the devices I own.

2. 99% of 16 channels relay modules on the market are the one I mentioned in the first post. There are 2 types of working voltage 5V and 12V but both types have low-level steering inputs. I know, the best would be to use Kincony's KC868-E16 but it's 20x more expensive.

if you want to use your own 5v extend relay board. you need add a level convert circuit. convert 5v -- 12v level.

I will probably use 2x 8 channel PC817 Optocoupler to control 5V circuits with 12V.

it's ok, add a Optocoupler for convert.
