RE: IR Receiver Compatibility with KC868-A6 and KC868-A16 - admin - 11-28-2024 sure, it's ok, the IR receiver module maybe already include pull up resistance on pcb. i can't see clearly. if YES, just connect the IR receiver signal pin to ESP32 free GPIO. if NOT, you need add a 47K pull up resistance to VCC.
