Dear Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I have a few questions, and I would greatly appreciate your guidance and expertise:
  1. How can I control four air conditioning units (Gree, Daikin, Samsung, and Toshiba) using four GPIO pins? Could you kindly assist me in setting up the ESPHome YAML file for this configuration?
  2. Is it possible to utilize eight channels for controlling devices? If so, I would be grateful if you could provide some insights on how this can be implemented effectively.
  3. Lastly, could you please share any updates on when the KCSFirmware will be released? I am eagerly looking forward to its availability.

1. that need have RS485 protocol, it's not easy.
2. i don't understand your means.

Thank you for your previous response. My earlier question was about the AG8-IR module.

1- I mean I want to use a configuration like the following:

platform: daikin_brc
name: 'AC'
sensor: room_temperature
use_fahrenheit: true
I mean, I want the configuration to work specifically with ESPHome.Can you share the full configuration file?

2- How can I use 8 channels to control 8 air conditioners, if that is possible?

3- When will the KCS-FIRMWARE for the AG8-IR be released?

now we are designing KCS v3 firmware for AG8. it will finish after China New Year holidays. i think you can wait for a moment.
