Pull up on A8 - heffneil - 01-27-2025 I am using ESPHome and I am seeing a lot of problems with the floating input. Can someone tell me if I can specify pullup? I tried with esphome normally and it doesn't like it so I am stuck? RE: Pull up on A8 - admin - 01-27-2025 which port you are using? take a photo. because the 1-wire ports, it already have pull up resistance on PCB. RE: Pull up on A8 - heffneil - 01-28-2025 I am using the ports directly to the right of the power input: picture here: https://imgur.com/a/FLl1CRC RE: Pull up on A8 - admin - 01-28-2025 ![]() see this photo. S1, S2, S3, S4 ports all have pull up resistance on PCB. I am seeing significant bouncing? RE: Pull up on A8 - admin - 01-28-2025 digital input ports ONLY use for dry contact signal. they are without pull up resistors, because of they not connect with ESP32's pin directly, there are PCF8574 chip's pin. RE: Pull up on A8 - heffneil - 01-28-2025 I am sorry I don't understand what you are saying. Are you saying I need pull up resistors? This is closed contact testing and shouldnt flap. |
