clk_mode for ethernet - cvonk - 12-20-2025

When flashing with ESPHome, I get the following warnings

Code:
WARNING [ethernet] The 'clk_mode' option is deprecated and will be removed in ESPHome 2026.1. Please update your configuration to use 'clk' instead.
WARNING GPIO5 is a strapping PIN and should only be used for I/O with care.
Attaching external pullup/down resistors to strapping pins can cause unexpected failures.
See https://esphome.io/guides/faq/#why-am-i-getting-a-warning-about-strapping-pins

Can you tell me if I should specify External clock or Internal clock.  Details at
https://esphome.io/components/ethernet/

Also, can you share the schematic?

Thanks
