Need Advice for New 3-Floor Smart Home Construction Using KinCony Controllers (Nepal) - jitendra - 06-18-2026 Hi everyone ❤️, I am from Nepal and will start building my new house this month. another controller, which is best for 2 floors, there are many channels needed for 50 channel need for 2 floors I already have a KinCony AIO controller and would like to plan the smart home wiring before construction begins. I have attached my floor plan. Could you please suggest:
Thank you very much! ? Jitendra Nepal ?? By the way, I lived in Japan. If any person from Nepal wants to import easily, RE: Need Advice for New 3-Floor Smart Home Construction Using KinCony Controllers (Nepal) - admin - 06-19-2026 i think every floor you can make a smart DB. just you need calculate the channels, then chose BxM series smart controller + DC contactor. This approach significantly reduces cable routing complexity across the infrastructure. Integrated system components will connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, leveraging IFTTT or standard TCP/IP protocols for seamless interoperability. A critical advantage of this topology is network resilience: in the event of a network outage, all KC controllers will continue to operate independently in standalone mode. While the initial capital expenditure may be higher, this investment guarantees long-term system redundancy and operational reliability. Furthermore, implementing RS485 serial communication alongside multi-gang switches will minimize wiring overhead from wall switches to the KC controllers.Sensor Selection and Signal IntegrityFor environmental and security monitoring, each room should be equipped with 24GHz presence sensors, smoke detectors, and window contact sensors. Where feasible, LoRa-based (Long Range) sensors should be prioritized. LoRa technology provides superior immunity to radio frequency (RF) interference, ensuring stable data transmission in dense wireless environments. This robust framework establishes a highly resilient, scalable foundation for the Home Assistant deployment Happy building your home assistant project. Best regards Zali |
