Do you plan to produce a relay controller with ESP32 equipped with current measurement? Thanks to this, it would be possible to support the Current Based Cover (https://esphome.io/components/cover/current_based.html).

what's the current range?
now A series board already have analog input (4-20mA) can be used.

Usually AC motors used in shutters/covers draw a current in the range of 0-2A. Esphome developers propose to use the ADE7953 sensor platform (https://esphome.io/components/sensor/ade7953.html) to control the Current Based Cover.
