KC868-AGv3 - zalaking - 08-19-2026 Hi Kincony and community. I've just received my KC868-AGv3 RF/IR Smart Controller.. is there an example ESPHome configuration posted anywhere - I've been searching for some time and cannot find a an example I can use to get me started... I've installed a base ESP32 config on it and I see it on my network etc.. but keen to get it fully worked with all the RF/IR/Buzzer features.. Many thanks in advance. RE: KC868-AGv3 - admin - 08-19-2026 what function you wanted? beucase AGv3 mainly use for IR and RF. so it need you learn signal by yourself. suggest download KCS v3 firmware, easy to learn signal and integrate to home assistant. if you MUST want config by esphome, you can see this sample: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8436 RE: KC868-AGv3 - zalaking - 08-20-2026 (08-19-2026, 10:35 PM)admin Wrote: what function you wanted? beucase AGv3 mainly use for IR and RF. so it need you learn signal by yourself. suggest download KCS v3 firmware, easy to learn signal and integrate to home assistant. many thanks, I guess I'm most interested in RF capabilities so will play with both configuration options - ideally ESPHome would be great as I have many other devices already there but if your firmware is easier to get to grips with then simple wins the day. many thanks for sharing the config. RE: KC868-AGv3 - admin - 08-20-2026 you are welcome. RE: KC868-AGv3 - zalaking - 08-20-2026 (08-20-2026, 11:43 AM)admin Wrote: you are welcome. one last question, sorry. I did get your v3 firmware installed and have successfully learned a couple of RF commands to control the light on an Altitude ceiling fan; I would say kinda working as I have to fire commands a few times in quick repetition to get the fan to register but I'm very happy to get this far as this fan has been annoying to get working!! - I'm sure I need to play with the rf settings a bit to refine.. my question is.. is there some type of verbose log somewhere that I can see/export that shows what rf codes are being sent when i hit the trigger button? thanks again RE: KC868-AGv3 - admin - 08-20-2026 you can set the RF repeat send times on this config webpage. |
