AM2301
#1
Hello, I'm verry interested in this board( the v2 version)

I have  2 questions.

I need to use 2x AM2301 sensors, is it possible to use them with this board?

Which poe expansion board do I need to add to this board to use poe directly?

1. there is one free GPIO terminal beside analog input terminal you can use for AM2301, it use for 1-wire device. ESPHome support one gpio use for multi 1-wire sensor. so you can connect with 2pcs AM2301 together.
2. here is POE module use for A8S v2: https://shop.kincony.com/products/rj45-p...10c4&_ss=r
it use by PM0503T (5V 2.4A) POE module.

I want to use it as a greenhouse irrigation controller,  I have one AM2305B already installed in the greenhouse how ever the second temp/hum sensor is to monitor the environment of the enclosure where the A8S will be placed so I'm notified if there is to much humidity in spring/autumn or heat in summer.

 1. If I understand correctly AM2301 is 1-wire but doesn't have unique address like Dallas  DS1820 sensors. So this will not work. I'm struggling to find a sensors with analogue output. I might have to use a RS485 sensor.

2. Can the board be ordered preassembled with poe?

1. you can use this analog sensor : https://shop.kincony.com/products/temper...ity-sensor
2. if you order POE with A8S v2 bundle, we can install the POE module for you.

Hello, I placed my order #1019

I ordered the rs485 temp/hum sensor i hope i will get it working with esphome

I didn’t notice your reply nor the analog sensor. I didn't read that its analog a just assumed it was one wire as is looks like am2301 from picture.

Please if you can assemble the poe that would be awesome.

yes, we have checked order #1019, you have not paid.
if you use RS485 sensor, do you will connect to one ESP32 board's RS485 port?

I paid using wire transfer it will take maybe 2days to go through. I can pm transfer details if needed. Yes i plan on connecting the sensor to a8s rs485. Also if i dont use gsm or rf can i use the pins as gpio?

gsm module's pin can be used. RF pin have connect with IC, unless you remove the IC, so that you can use the free GPIO.
suggest to use GSM's two gpios directly, and easily.
