Using B16M for driving LED strips
#1
Question
I have a 24v 20A power supply which I intent of using to power a bunch of LED strips. As each "DC" port can handle 10A maximum, and B16M has two DC ports, can the B16M be used to control said LED strips?
What about dimming, can the PCF8575TS I2C I/O expander handle updates fast enough that dimming can be accomplished? What about just adding jumpers from the ESP to the I/O expander outputs to basically do PWM directly if PCF8575TS can't handle it?

Thank you

every channel output MAX support 10A, it's ok, but every 8 channel use by COMMON DC terminal port, the plastic terminal support MAX10. so let your 8 channel output total work <10A is safety for the green terminal.
i suggest you chose KC868-D16 or KC868-AP for dimmer.
PCF8575TS can't use for PWM output, it use by digital output.

Can the board be modified so that I add some jumpers from the ESP32 pins directly to the PCF8575TS outputs and disconnect the PCF8575TS? To use the ESP PWM generation for dimming as it has 16 channels. Or add another chip, like a TLC5940 or a couple of TLC59711's to do the PWM as they only have 12 channels

it's not easy to do that, will easy broken the PCB.
