KC868-A16 not support this LED. you need to use KC868-D16 or KC868-AP dimmer controller.

So if it is possible with KC868-D16 , then probably also possible with KC868-D8. If yes can show me how to do it please?

I believe it is similar to this tutorial

I just want to have color wheel led control preferably in Home assistant. Thanks in advance!

yes, the video tour use by WS2812B RGB LED strip, it's easy. if you can replace with this new led strip, your KC868-A16 board can work with it.

Unfortunately I cannot replace my led strip, please suggest how to control this RGBW 5pin led strip with KC868-D8  as I already have these items bought and prefer to use these controllers ( D8 or A16).

KC868-D8 not support colorful LED strip. only use for monocolor LED strip.

Thank you for the answer! Is there any other cost effective, simple RGBW controller for Home assistant solution? As KC868-D16 costs 750Eur.
