KC868-H32BS connecting with external relays / switches
#1
I currently have 2 panels with some 16a Finder (20.21.9.024.4000) 24v dc relays, these relays controls some lights and blinds, the blinds have a sequencing to it (open, pause, close, pause, open) currently they are being toggled by a switch/interruptor.

I've watched some videos from kincony and looks like I could use the kc868-h32bs, I guess my question is if this is the best option, I basically want to make these relays available on alexa, and it feels like I'd connect the existing switches to the inputs from the kc868-h32bs and then the output would go to the finder relay. is there another way of achieving this? My concern is making sure that the board knows when the relay is on/off as it needs to know if the lights are turned on / off to work properly.

the problem though is that connecting the switch to the board directly would leave it without a backup in case the board has any issues, so it wouldnt be possible to control the lights directly in that case, I wanted to have a backup if possible, I'm not sure if theres a way of the board detecting the relay state otherwise

(Im a software engineer, so not too familliar with hardware, any help is appreciated, I wanna make sure I order the right products for the setup)

Attaching a photo of one of my panels.

we suggest you to chose new versoin A32 Pro controller. that can connect with your switch button directly. also support Alexa , Google home speaker and Apple HomeKit and Siri.
A32Pro have manual control buttons, if network or controller broken, also can use manual control buttons as a backup way.

Ok, I'll also need some infrared, and I'd need 64 inputs for the physical switches + 64 outputs (I have a lot of lights haha).

I've read on https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=1744 that the KC868-Server supports infrared as I didn't see a mention about it on the A32 Pro  page.

I could just get 2 of these A32 boards but since I'm not sure about infrared + not sure if I need another tuya module, esp32, etc seems a bit inefficient, I have space if needed to add multiple boards

if you want control IR device, add AG Pro IR controller is better. that can place in any room, work with wifi.

Ok, since I have 2 panels, one that needs around 32 and another 48.

I think I'll go with a server16 + f16 and then 2xf24 on the other one this way I also get the home assistant from server16.

The a32 pro looks great but I guess I'd need 1 for the first panel and 2 for the second one and I'd still need a raspberry pi to run a home assistant for having this available via lan, outside of tuya so I guess the above setup would make more sense given the split panels.

"I think I'll go with a server16 + f16 and then 2xf24 on the other one this way I also get the home assistant from server16." this is Ok. F16 and F24 is the best controller.
