V2.2.2 will not flash anymore
#1
I have an interesting problem.

After flashing my A16 with ESPHOME it will no longer flash KCS firmware v2.2.2.

I can flash my esphome bin many times without an issue.
I can flash v1.0.24 bin many times without an issue.

But when I try to flash v2.2.2, all appears normal, but the IP address I expect it at does not respond.
Scan tool does not detect it either.

I have also used esptool backup/resotre to flash and it still does not work.

Also does not show up as attached device in my router.

Any idea why v2.2.2 does not work anymore after flashing?

do you have installed RF433M receiver on PCB? if installed, remove it when download firmware.

Both receiver and transmitter are removed. As I said both esphome and v1.0.24 flash just fine.

can you do "ERASER" firstly, then download firmware for v2.2.2

More information.

V2.1.9 flashes and works fine.
V2.2.2 still refuses to work after flashing.
Downloaded a fresh copy of v2.2.2 just make sure my copy wasn't corrupted but it did not make any difference.

Nope same issue.

Don't know if it will help, but I have attached to logs from esphome for the device.

Here is a picture of my board. Don't know what good it will do.
See post: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread...4#pid14604

V2.2.2 was working on this board in the past, but now it will not function after flashing.

ESPHOME and V2.1.9 both work just fine. Something on this board has changed that is preventing v2.2.2 or > from being detected after flashing.

The ESP log I sent you shows that ethernet is not functioning.

V2.1.9 log:

The above highlighted lines are from the v2.1.9 log , but are missing in the v2.2.2 log.
