KC868-AK Firmware
#1
I have recently purchased the KC868-AK ESP32 keyboard and I have a few questions:

  1. Does it has already firmware? Or I need to flash it?
  2. With the keyboard I got RS232 cable, however I haven't found what each color means (Yellow, Blue, Brown vs Rx,Tx,Ground)
  3. Is it possible that when I click a button state will be sent via RS485 for example to RaspberryPI?

Thank you in advance!

1. Yes, it already have firmware inside, if you want to use by home assistant, KC868-AK support download your yaml config file by ESPHome.
2. RS232 mainly use RXD,TXD,GND. Here you can see the Pin define. what RS232 cable you have used? black color or white color? can you take a photo.

3. sure, now you pressed one button, will send command to RS232 and RS485, just RS485 use by modbus protocol command.

Thank you for the prompt answer. I have a RS232 cable that came together with the keyboard. It has 3 wires -> Yellow, Blue, Brown and cable itself is black.

I was setting up the module today and noticed that if I would like to perform Off action on multiple relays it works only in case if the setup is 1-32, however if I set for example 2-11 it does not work. Firmware version 1.0.6.

There is screenshot, the first input should turn off outputs 4-12, however it does not happen. It only works when setup is 1-32 Sad
