help in configuring and connecting the measurement probes connected to the KC868-COLB
#6
Hello,

Thank you for your video link and your explanations.

Our three sensors are now correctly connected to our KC868-COLB PLC but we have questions for you because we do not understand certain things.

We thank you in advance for answering point by point to the following 6 questions:

1 - The wind, rain and light sensor is connected to the digital input D1+ of our KC868-COLB PLC but on the dasboard of the Kincony SBC application only a button named "01 #" displays two states of the button, or it appears in green, or it appears in gray.

What we want is to read precisely the digital value of each measurement provided by the wind, rain and light sensor.

How do you read the 3 measurements in numerical values for each of the values independently; wind measurement, rain measurement and light readings?

How do you program the independent reading of these 3 digital measurements?
This is a digital sensor, it just send on or off signal. wind  rain or light one of these three sensor is triggered, it will send signal to brown line, it can't measure which sensor had triggered.

2 - How do you keep the history of all the digital and analog values of the sensors connected to the KC-868-COLB PLC over a week, a month, or a year of these 6 values captured by your Kincony SBC application (1 digital sensor and two analog probes)?

3 - Is the Kincony SBC application suitable for reading and storing the history of analog and digital values supplied by the sensors connected to the KC-868-COLB PLC?

4 - If not, should we do it via an application like Node Red under Raspberry Pi or the Domoticz application or the OpenHAB application?

5 - If YES, can you please tell us the video tutorial link to do it for these applications?
The software won't save the sensor's history data. but it can save the IFTTT commands in data file.

6- We also purchased a second KC868-H32B reference PLC from Kincony which we connected to our KC868-COLB PLC with a serial cable provided. (photo is atached to our previous message)

However we do not know how we configure the KC868-H32B PLC to communicate with the KC868-COLB PLC from the Kincony SBC application?

If the Kincony SBC application is not the right application suitable for the dialogue between the 2 PLCs, can you please indicate the correct application and send us the tutorial video link to configure it?
The KC868-H32B and KC868-COLB are connected through a serial cable. The then command can be set in Kincony_SCB software to turn relays on or off. this is the video  https://youtu.be/CUGD5YWwfoE
at 3:29 it will show you to set the then commands to control the Relays.

We believe that your PLCs and your IOT technology are very interesting to deploy for our customers.

We appreciate all the support you provide to us in understanding how it works and how easily and quickly we can adapt it to our customers' demand.

Awaiting your reply, IOTHDF Member

I wish you a good day,

Best regards,[/quote]
