how to use tasmota firmware with KC868-A6

I set the on time, enable and enable timer options and then when the time I set it for is reached nothing gets switched on.  I tick the check box for every day of the week too. I tried it with the Kincony A6 board and another ESP32 with a relay module and it's the same. Nothing happens after setting the timer and saving the config.

For the action I am using the "on" setting to turn the relay on, do I need to set the action to "rule" and write a script for the rule?

I know the relays are working because I can switch them all on and off from the main menu.
