I would unsolder resistor R82 and connect the control circuit to some ESP32 output with a wire. It will work much more reliably.

And I don't like the implementation of input protection on these boards (it's like that everywhere, unfortunately), which does not protect TVS diodes. If you accidentally apply +12 or higher to lines A or B for a long time, then the protective diodes will simply overheat and burn out, and the fuses will not even be able to work.

Therefore, it is better to put additional self-restoring fuses outside the 0.1A board, on the connector. It's a mess, but better than nothing
