After trying many methods, I finally got it working, though not without some difficulty. I managed to connect it via USB to the Home Assistant server. No other method worked, and I tried many. Connecting via IP gave me a lot of problems and headaches; Home Assistant wouldn't recognize the IP address, even though the device itself was working.
Now I'm struggling with MQTT. I can no longer access the device via IP. I can get the sensor data via IP, but not the configuration. I imagine this is related to Home Assistant.
I was about to return it... but we're going to keep fighting
