F16 tuya reverse sw. function missing
#3
Hello,
I have two KinCony F16 16-channel ESP32-S3 relay boards and I want to build a hard-wired dimming solution for 4–6 LED strips using SR-2001DIN 1–10V dimmers.

I know KinCony already has a dedicated 0–10V dimmer board, but it is 16 channels and physically large. I only need about 4 channels, so I am planning to use a smaller external 0–10V analog output module instead.

I am looking at this RS-485 Modbus RTU analog output module (0–10V):
https://grobotronics.com/industrial-8-ch...s-rtu.html

My questions are:
Is it possible to connect this Modbus RTU 0–10V analog output module directly to the RS-485 port on the KinCony F16? Can the F16 act as a Modbus master and control the registers of this analog output module? Is there an available firmware or configuration (KinCony firmware or ESPHome) that allows the F16 to work as an RS-485 gateway so Home Assistant can control the dimming channels through the F16, without using a USB-to-RS485 adapter? I want to avoid USB completely because I do not consider it safe or reliable for a permanent installation.

If this is possible, could you please explain what software configuration or setup steps are required?

Thank you very much.
