1. if you have 5 switch panel, you can use 5 KCOM line to switch terminal board or use 1 KCOM line (5 switch's "KCOM" connect together) all is no problem, it's up to you.
2.KC868 relay controller connect with switch terminal board by RS232 cable. RS232 cable MAX distance between two device is 10 meter. if you want to expand the distance, you can use RS232<->RS485 converter adapter, it can be extend to 1000 meter.
