Building a smart home system using kincony
#4
Question 1) Is it possible to somehow increase the number of ports from 32 to 50:

---> if you want more output ports, you need add another KC868-H32B Pro controller, just connect to router by network, this is only way. you can use multi H32B Pro controller by same one app. use every channel of relay by voice controler (alexa / google home speaker)

Question 1.2) For example, I have a server that runs 24/7, will kincony (KC868-H32B PRO and KC868-E16 DIN RAIL) withstand such a load?

---> sure, all our controller design for running 24/7. if you chose KC868-E16 extend relay module, suggest use KC868-E16v2 version.

Question 1.3) If the KC868-H32B PRO or KC868-E16 DIN RAIL through which we will connect sockets in the apartment breaks down, if the main board or KC868-E16 DIN RAIL breaks down, will the sockets work in this case? Yes, I understand that I won’t be able to control them through HomeAssistant la primera, but will the same vacuum cleaner work if it’s connected to an outlet??

---> if home assistant or KC868-H32B Pro break down. KC868-E16v2 board have manual control switch on board, you can use it control relay's coin directly without any software. finally, if you think the manual control switch button also is bad. i think you can connect your power socket to KC868-E16v2's relay output COM, NC. so that it will always ON for the power supply. KC868-E16v2's relay output have COM, NO, NC ports, you can chose how to use.

--- I also can’t understand the next point, we have some equipment that requires more than 16A, for example an induction hob in the kitchen, should I connect it past kincony?? As I understand from the input circuit breaker (for example, 64A), I connect another circuit breaker for the induction panel or are there better options??

---> if large current load, some KC868-H32B Pro's output channel can connect with contactor, contactor usually for large current, such as AC220v 25A, 32A, 64A, 100A, 200A, just according to your load's current.

--- Do I understand correctly, so that I can get the temperature in the apartment from sensors as an example, I also need a KC868-COLB board??? But she does not know how to work with the same Zigbee devices, how to connect, say, 10 different Zigbee sensors (thermostats for underfloor heating, heating, and so on)

---> Yes, if you want to get the temperature, you can add KC868-COLB INPUT module, or other KC868-A series board (they have GPIOs port for sensor), just KC868-COLB have more ports than KC868-A series board. if you want to use Zigbee, if you install home assistant to KC868-Server, or your own raspberry pi computer, just plugin one USB zigbee dongle, then you can use Zigbee3.0 products in home assistant by different brand.

Perhaps you have a visual diagram, even if there is not one element there, but the main thing is that it is clear how to connect it all.

---> all dirgram you can see at here: https://www.kincony.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?fid=33
