Need help with configuration of multiple controllers in the same house
#21
Hello admin and have a good week.
I would appreciate it if you could upload a video tour on turning on relays in two different controllers from one KC868 AK using Modbus

,2.I have a problem with KC SERVER.  10 only 2 are normal (photos of the pingham and the configuration are attached) I checked of course that there is no address conflict with another component I tried to reset the  the wifi but it didn't work out what can be done is there a way to do a factory reset ?

3. I have another wifi problem with one of the H32B PRO type controllers which is unable to connect to the WIFI network at all I don't know if it is related but the MAC address of its WIFI card is 00:00:00:00:00:00 (picture attached) In this case too is there a solution or is there a possibility to do a factory reset indicating that in both cases?

(I tried to connect to the network without security and there was no change)

1. when have free time will make video tour.
2. suggest use ethernet button set to DHCP mode.
d.) Hold on Ethernet mode button, when the [yellow and white LED] all is ON, release it, then work mode in “UDP” and IP by DHCP mode;
here is online guide: https://www.kincony.com/how-to-use-kc868-server.html
3. Do you means ESP32's wifi? or Tuya module's Wifi? if can't use by ESP32 wifi, do you have download firmware to ESP32 module before? such as whether used Apple HomeKit firmware for ESP32?

2.Maybe I didn't mention about the KC686 server, I'm talking about its wifi component that doesn't connect well and not about the ethernet and I also tried dhcp and it didn't solve the problem,
3.about the H32B pro I'm talking about the wifi connection in its normal configuration, I want it to connect to the network and work with it in the configuration of tcp server on the wifi regarding tuya it is connected and working I should mention that I have another H32B pro which is connected via wifi in the configuration I mentioned

In my answer, I refer to both modules, even though the server has a connection to the wifi network, but it is unstable, and in the H32B PRO there is no connection to the WIFI network at all (I also check the connection in the DHCP table on the router)
1. Yes I installed wifi antenna ,I'm not at home, I'll take a video in the evening and upload it later
2. NO I did not download firmware to ESP32 module before
(If I have to do it, I would appreciate it if you added a link to the appropriate firmware for the modules)

you can try to download this factory firmware for ESP32.

I want to confirm with you.

1. if you want use one KC868-AK different button control different relay controller by RS485.
only support ON/OFF action for relay controller. You can't use TOGGLE command by RS485 modbus. are you OK?

2. if you want use one KC868-AK different button control different relay controller by network (Ethernet or Wifi)
so that you can ON/OFF/TOGGLE different controller's relay.

which one you want?

Hi
Sorry for the late reply, I was out of town
I prefer The first one by rs 485
The switch won't allow me to open a shutter that should be interlocked?
All my switches are push button ((momentary) i add pic)) type so I'm not sure about the function of the toggle but if I need the toggle then I prefer the option that suits me

I mention that I use an ethernet connection to work with the home assistant using the mqtt protocol. I wanted to exercise another option as a backup, so I asked for rs485 because I have not yet solved the problem I have with wifi communication on the kc server and one of the H32B Pro controllers, otherwise I would use wifi communication for mqtt and ethernet communication For backup when there is no wifi network

It fix the problem of H32B PRO now it connect to the wifi
In kc server the factory firmware not fix the problem the connection is still unstable and I lose ping packets

I think i must the toggel function on / off not work whit push button

if you MUST need use by TOGGLE, by network is OK. But by RS485, you need to use two different KC868-AK board with differernt relay controller.
one KC868-AK only support ON/OFF action for multi relay controllers by RS485 bus.
