KC868-A32 temperature sensor

Hi,

How can we use ds18b20 temperature sensor for KC868-A32 board? For KC868-A16 there is gpio input but this board does not have.
Does KC868-A32 support temperature sensor?

Yes, A32 no free GPIOs for use. But you can use analog sensor connect to A1,A2,A3,A4 ports.
if you MUST want use DS18B20, there is white plugin for "serial port", you can use one of GPIO for DS18B20, just you need to connect with a pull up resistance.

Hi,

I try connecting ds18b20 to serial port as suggested with a 4.7k resistor and I saw 4 adc value. How to use this value as temperature? Temperature now around 27 and adc showing 6xx

A32 no GPIO for DS18B20 can directly use in KCS firmware. you can use analog 0-5v temperature sensor for A32.
if you MUST need to use DS18B20 with A32, you need to write your own arduino code for that.

Thank you for the reply. Any suggestion for analog temperature sensor for A32. Will A32 show the sensor menu when the analog temperature sensor is install?

And check with you, what other kincony board that has more than 16 port, with temperature sensor support and support kcs firmware?

A32 can use dc 0-5v or 4-20mA analog sensor.
KCS firmware not support so much sensor. if you want to use 16 sensors by one GPIO port, you can write your own arduino code, it's not difficult.

Hi,

I use DHT11 analog temperature sensor and connect the data to A1 port and using 5v for power.
Now it is reading as 4059 in the ADC channel 1, what should i do to convert the value to degree Celsius? Temperature now is around 24 degree Celsius

DHT11 is 1 wire sensor, not analog sensor, so can't use for analog input ports.
