KC868-A8M SIM7600 GPRS Disconnected
#1
Hi,
Recently I bought KC868-A8M with SIM7600 module and Installed the latest KCS firmware (KCS_KC868_A8M_V2.1.9). I enabled the GSM on the network settings page. But, I'm getting "GPRS : disconnected" on monitor page. Try to clicking "Phone test" but I'm getting "error".

Following are the logs for reference.

So on,

I checked SIM7600 module connecting directly to the Computer using USB. Module is working perfectly and can send and receive both SMS and Voice call.

Please help.

after you enable "GSM", MUST reboot then can use test GSM function. do you have reboot? just power off->on of your board.

do you want only use by 4G module, not need to use RS485 , right?
because RS485 and 4G module use same serial port. if you not need to use RS485, you need remove IC:U26 (74LVC1G125) . Then you can use 4G module.
we have update KCS A8M firmware for V2.2.4 to solve the 4G module problem. just download it directly to use.

Thank you very much for your quick response and support. I purchase several SHT20 RS485 Modbus modules to get samples from several places. Anyway, I will use an alternative.

Just remove the U26 IC and upload the given firmware. But have the same error.

we have tested A8M remove U26 chip by KCS v2.2.4 firmware . it's OK.  Note: after you enable GSM, press SAVE button. then you need power off->on of your A8M board. when power on again, then use "Phone test" button to test "SMS" or "CALL".

test with CALL

test with SMS
