KC868-M16v2 configure yaml for ESPhome
#21
Would like to monitor 6 main channels of a home ((1) lighting, (2) electrial appliances, (3) sockets and so on). Planning to put this controller in the main distribution box and to use clamps to monitor each channel.
Would this work with Home Assistant Energy meter? How can I have a TOTAL CONSUMPTION in kWh to use the Energy module in home assistant?

However, I'm in the US and (1) have a few 220V devices that I would like to measure, meaning I need to combine two of the CT Clamp sensors into a single value in Home Assistant for power monitoring and (2) would like to measure the input of power coming from the meter on the first two clamps. How would I go about updating the ESP YAML to achieve this so that it can display accurately in Home Assistant Energy?

now if you use one CT clamp sensor, what value showed? what correct value should show?

which energy board you will use? if use by M30, it have a register for calculate SUM of all Channel's energy.

M30 is to much for what I need. I was planning to use M16v2 maybe

it's OK.

Saludos.

take a photo which CT sensor you are using. how you wire with your M16v2 board.

I have completed my configuration for the KC868-M16v2 with nearly accurate amp readings.

I followed the route of another forum member and implemented intervals for switching to the different current clamps.

On my wishlist are some toppics, that i havent figured out yet:

1. Interval change of the display topics: Voltages, Output Group Amps, Output Group apparent power and the Ip Address
2. When I look in the debug log, i see the "switch to input channel" from the CTs jumping around while no measurement is active.
3. When the voltage measuremt interval takes place, my sampling on the CTs go down, i didn´t find out how to give the voltage also a interval.
