H32B pro: No IP adress assigned to controller
#1
Hello,

I have the KC868-H32B controller. I managed to follow all steps to connect with homekit and also open the admin page via it's IP adress.
Now, with trying to get in to work in Home assistent, I accidently removed its Ethernet settings ( IP adress, mac, port, etc... ) . So instead of Controller Ethernet IP adress 192.168.1.200. , now scanning it wit ' UDP_Scan_List ' tool . It detects the controller with adress 0.0.0.0.0. I cannot connect to it anymore now.
Everything in the red square, was empty when I clicked on ' save settings '

Is there a way to put all factory settings back?

Kind regards

Kenny

1. your controller and your router should in one same local network.
2. if webpage no data. re power on , after a little time open webpage, because it need time to get the data.
3. if really can't work well, you can try to download firmware again.

I tried the things you proposed.

1. Connect controller via ethernet cable to same acces point as laptop is cinncected to via wifi.
2. powered on and waited 2 minutes before connecting via webpage with ip http://192.168.1.200/ => Couldnt find
3: Installed firmware again via " flash_download_tool_3.9.2 " with USB ccable. I used the new firmware " H32B_Pro_V119_230820 " .
This was installed succesful.

After these steps still IP adress is 0.0.0.0.0 via the UDP scan tool, and also my router doesnt detect it .
Is there anything else I can try

can't use "flash_download_tool_3.9.2" tool, this not for KC868-H32B Pro controller.
last photo's tool is correct. here is how to download firmware for H32B Pro video tour: https://youtu.be/JFKeKv8Ks_4

I followed your video exactly, but cannot find the controller, so download firmware is not possible. It looks like the controller lost it's IP adress. When I ping it via NET REMOTE AIP it doenst find the controller.

when download firmware , H32B Pro will set to default ip 192.168.1.200 , so make sure your router and your computer is 192.168.1.x
if you can't change router's ip address, let ethernet cable connect H32B Pro and your computer directly. just make sure they are in same network, so that can use download tool.

Okay this worked, finally!

So what i did was:

- Connect The controller and laptop directly to each other with an Ethernet cable. ( laptop has an ethernet port )
- Laptop was still connected to the internet via wifi (Don't know if that's neccessary )
- Then on laptop (window 11 ) , I went to: Settings => Network and internet => Ethernet. Here You can change IP settings from " automatic " to "manual. Then assigned a available IP adress in range of the H32B pro controller 192.168.1. X . (See picture below )
- After applying these settings => Open " NET_REMOTE_IAP " application => Type in your Laptops IP adress ( the one you manually input ) => Then power up the H32B Pro controller => Then click the " CONNECT " button within the firt 5 seconds of controlelr startup => Then it Said "connected ".
- After insert the " BIN - file " containing the firmware with pushing " select firmware " => Pres " Load by filpath ". => Firmware got installed succesfully

-Now to acces the controller: I opened "UDP SCAN LIST" tool, It shows the IP of the controller the router assigned to it. ( it was not 192.168.1.200 but 192.168.0.22 )
- Then I connected the H32B pro controller directly to my router again via the ethernet cable.
- Then Typed in the " 192.168.0.22 " ( In my case ). And I got The Blue login screen again and managed to login and control everything again.

I hope this helps annyone struggling again in the future.

Thank you very much Kincony for the patience and help.
