DS18B20 longer distance
#1
Hello I have 10x DS18B20 temp sensors hooked up to KC868-AIO

They are mostly around 50-70ft away from the KC868-AIO

They are all home run cable back to KC868-AIO (star patern)

The cable used is 18/3 OFC copper.

I can only get them to work if hooked directly up short run without extending them.

How can I get this setup to work? Resistors? If so what kind?

Thanks

You can use thick shielded wire for testing.
here is video tour about long cable for DS18B20: https://youtu.be/4DfJnC3Wd2k

I cannot re run any wire. We have 18 gauge 3 conductor already ran inside walls.

Can a resistor be added or what other options?

maybe you can use KC868-AM + DS18B20 place to any place independently. all these can integrate to home assistant.

In your video. Is that 14awg wire? it says 2.5??

Would I be able to have multiple runs of that in star pattern?

We need 10 temp sensors.

How would I fit them all into the boards little connector?
Would I splice them all together into 3 wires at the end?

Can resistors be uses at all? Or no because there is one built into the board already?
