A16: IFTTT Time based actions not working
#1
Hello.
I set up an A16 device with the software version v.2.2.12. The display of the time on index page is still not correct. It should always follow the format YYYY-MM-DD HH:MI:SS.
Unfortunatlely the date & time is displayed like this: "2025-02.27 7:5:27" Please see attached image.

In addition to that, the IFTTT time function is not working. When time is reached, the configured output is not switched on.
What am I doing wrong?

Hello.

Thank you for the reply. I did this several times on 3 different A16s. It did not work on any device. :-(

The firmware gets the UTC adjustment wrong, there's a thread somewhere that covers this.  So you need to figure out what time the board thinks it currently is and then adjust the time setting in the IFTTT rule to match that rather than the actual time.

Yes, I found the thread. I adjusted the UTC settings so that the time on index page is in sync with the local time on my PC. But it did not work. ?‍♂️

One other possibility, and this is just guessing, is that the board has the time internally in UTC but applies the (incorrect) time zone offset for display, so the displayed time doesn't matched the internal time.  Can you set it to trigger (say) every day at 12pm and then hook up an external monitor to record the time when it actually triggers?

Also, have you enabled the logical AND option?  That would change it so all conditions have to be met, not just the time.

Hello. As you can see in the screenshot, I configured only one condition. But to answer you question: no I did not enable the AND condition.
I also tried to set my timer so that it will trigger when UTC +-0 is reached. But this also did not help.
I can try to set up several times to see if it triggers at any point in time.
Does the timer work in an A16 v2.2.10 device on you side?

Sure, just double-checking everything :-).

That's a good question, I've never tried using the timer... I'll set it up tomorrow and see what happens, just need to figure out a way to record the activation other than (say) hooking up a siren that then gets triggered at 4am.
