I'm tring to use your program for debug but I recive empty string
I write this string "5E0103C0080000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000103000000150584"

the RS485 mainly use for our MODBUS nergy meter, the data is not very long, if you have many data feedback, i think not allowed by protocol. i suggest you use a USB - RS485 adapter connect PC server with your RS485 sensor directly.
another news: you can download our newest KC868-COLB PC software, we have translate debug page to English language menu.

NOO Big Grin  , just a question
why you don't use 38 couple of 00 (zero) to receive more byte?
thank you

This is the planned structure in the design. RS485 is mainly used to communicate with our smart meters.
