KC868-Meter
#1
Hello.
Anybody else having issues to read meter (KC868-Meter-1PV-RS485) data with KC868-COLB using Kincony Smart Board controller software?
Steps taken:
1. connected the Meter to COLB. Wire B to 12, wire A to 11
2. no other sensors or devices are connected to COLB, only the meter
3. successfully connected to COLB with Kincony SCB_V1.0.410.504
4. Enabled Autoreport
5. Opened the EMeter page
6. Set meter ID number
7. Clicked the Read button

After waiting about 1 minute all fields (kWH, V, A, kW, Q, Hz) are still 0.
Changed the meter to another one (replaced the meter ID in Kincony SCB_V1.0.410.504 ) but the result is the same. Cannot read meter data.

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

1. take a photo how you connect with wire.
2. take a photo what ID number you have set.

Sorry for late reply. Attached photos from connections and meter ID. I've triple checked every cable connection. All good.

I know the address is 204. I'm using this address. The problem is that when I click on read in Kincony SCB_V1.0.410.504 software nothing happens. All values remain 0. The address is set to 204, successfully connected to the board still all data remaind 0 on meter read.

i have tested by COLB firmware V1.9 , it's ok, if you MUST need to use power meter, you can use V1.9 firmware firstly.
we will fix this problem in next COLB firmware version update.

Using COLB firmware 2.8 not working. No meter data in smart board controller software. Nothing. Even no MQTT data.
After trying firmware 2.8 I've downloaded 1.1 firmware and WOW! Meter data is flowing and MQTT data is coming! NO OTHER SETTING WAS CHANGED ONLY THE FIRMWARE!

Something is not right with these new firmwares.
