Voltage in Analag Input for trigger? KC868-A16v3
#1
Hi,
I try to use an analog input to trigger an output by IFTTT.
Doesnt work, I tryd all kinds of settings.
Monitor shows input when I put 3,3 Volts on analog input but I can not manage to get an output triggered

What do I wrong?
My goal is to get more than 16 inputs using the analog inputs for a switched voltage.

take a photo of your KC868-A16v3 pcb, i want to see how you wire with your cable for the "DC". maybe you have lost the cable.
for example, this is KC868-A16 board, just see the RED cable, whether you have connected? as same as KC868-A16v3 board.

Thank you. Suddenly it works this morning.

See picture, do you think this would work properly to extend the board with 8 additional digital inputs using the 4 analog ports?
I tested it with 3,3 Volts and it seems to work
Resistors OK?

I want to create an alarm system and need more than 16 inputs

this need to actual testing. just set a more higher voltage value to compare, so that can work stable. but this is a complex way, if you want more digital input ports, why not add a kincony DI8 module? just connect to KC868-A16v3's i2c extender, then config by ESPHome, easy to use.

Thank you.
What is the max voltage for the analog inputs?
12 Volt or 5 Volt? I don´t want to test and damage.

I noticed the DI8 module, but I read about codes.
I am an electronic engineeer but I have zero clue about codes or computer languages.
I just do hardware, sorry Confused
