Before decorating the house, how to design and calculate how many circuit breakers are needed for intelligent control distribution?
In theory , the more circuit breakers there are, the better – but obviously, this is impractical. On the one hand, the size of the smart distribution box is limited; on the other hand, the home line does not need special fine protection and does not need to increase the cost too much. Therefore, the number of circuit breakers in the home should be determined by combining size, cost and safety – not too much, not too little. Generally, it is suggested to measure the calculation from five steps.
Step 1: Calculate light and socket
First, all lines are divided into lighting circuit and socket circuit. Next, we need to determine the number of lighting circuit and socket circuit respectively.
Step 2: light channel according room area
The larger the room area, the greater the load power of the lighting circuit.
Generally, the use area of 100 ㎡ is used as a stage. For the area below 100 ㎡, one lighting circuit is used; for the area of 100-200 ㎡, two lighting circuits are used – and so on.
Step 3: find out the high power in the socket
The socket circuit should also be divided into common socket and high-power socket. Each high-power socket should use a separate circuit – if the distribution box is too large, it can let the hanging air conditioner and water storage electric water heater with slightly lower power use one circuit for each two electrical appliances.
Step 4: common sockets number according room number
The number of common socket circuits shall be subject to the number of rooms – the number of rooms shall be counted first, and then the next step.
Step 5: room merging
For example, your home has a balcony, a bathroom, a kitchen, a restaurant, a hall, a living room, two bedrooms – in the previous step, you counted out eight rooms.
The last step is to merge the eight rooms – the smaller rooms, such as the foyer, balcony and dining room, are merged into the larger rooms nearby – for example, if the balcony is connected to the living room, then the balcony and the living room are merged into one room.
summary
Let’s give an example according to the above method: a small three bedroom apartment with an area of 100 square meters——
1. One lighting circuit.
2. Three high-power socket circuits (one for air conditioning of two bedrooms, one for electric water heater of study (north bedroom) and toilet, and one for air conditioning cabinet of living room).
3. 6 general socket circuits (1 circuit for main bedroom and balcony; 1 circuit for living room, dining room and foyer; 1 circuit for secondary bedroom; 1 circuit for study; 1 circuit for toilet; 1 circuit for kitchen).
4. A total of (at least) 1 + 3 + 6 = 10 channel smart breaker are required.
